About
Welcome to my world of quiet, heartfelt moments.
I’m Rhonda Lisi — an oil painter, wife, mother, and grandmother.
I paint tender scenes between couples and the simple joy of children at play. These canvases are daily reminders to keep the spark alive, savor life’s simple pleasures, and intentionally build a warm, loving home.
I began painting for my own walls. My passion ignited the day I captured a child’s tiny toes on canvas. I studied extensively through Will Kemp Art School and later completed the Milan Art Institute Mastery Program. I paint using classical techniques — starting with grisaille underpainting for structure, then layering translucent glazes with a limited palette to create rich, timeless realism. I love starting from candid, unposed photographs that feel genuine and full of emotion.
I paint from my studio in Holland Patent, New York.
